Sword of the Six Sages
|Sword of the Six Sages|
|Use(s)||Attacking enemies (BotW)|
Location and Uses
Prior to the events of Twilight Princess, the Six Sages forged the Sword of the Six Sages to execute the Demon King, Ganondorf. When this execution took place, the Six Sages gathered at the Mirror Chamber with Ganondorf in chains. The Sage of Water thrust the Sword of the Six Sages into Ganondorf's chest. However, the attempt was in vain, as the Triforce of Power kept him alive. Ganondorf withdrew the Sword from his body and broke free from his chains to kill the Sage of Water. Even though the Sages banish Ganondorf to the Twilight Realm, he manages to keep the Sword and use it against Link in the final battle. Ganondorf wishes to blot out the light forever with this blade. Link never wields the Sword of the Six Sages in Twilight Princess.
Breath of the Wild
The Sword of the Six Sages appears in Breath of the Wild as an exclusive amiibo item. It has a rare chance of appearing in a Treasure Chest after scanning the Super Smash Bros. Series Ganondorf amiibo with the amiibo Rune. Link can equip the Sword and attack with it. It functions as a two-handed Weapon.
- While Ganondorf is wielding the sword in Twilight Princess, the color changes from white to a glowing red; while this may be just due to the lighting, its similar coloration in Super Smash Bros. could mean the color change is intentional.
