Zelda's design in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is based on her appearance in A Link Between Worlds. According to Masahiro Sakurai, this design was better suited for fighting since her Breath of the Wild incarnation focused more on studying.

Stages from The Legend of Zelda

Great Plateau Tower

The Great Plateau Tower from Breath of the Wild appears as a Stage. The roof of the Tower can be destroyed, though it will regenerate after a period of time has passed. The Old Man from Breath of the Wild will occasionally glide down onto the top of the Stage.

Returning Stages

Gerudo Valley, Great Bay, Hyrule Castle, Hyrule: Temple, Spirit Train, and Skyloft are all returning from previous games.

Midna and Ghirahim reappear as Assist Trophies.
