The StreetPass Tree is an Apple Tree in A Link Between Worlds.[name reference needed] It is given to Link as a gift from Gramps.

Location and Uses[]

When Link completes his StreetPass setup by speaking to Gramps in Kakariko Village, Gramps commemorates the occasion by planting the StreetPass Tree just west of Link's House.[1] The StreetPass Tree's main function is as a source of Apples, which can be knocked off of the Tree by dashing into it with the Pegasus Boots. Initially only three Apples grow on the StreetPass Tree, and an additional Apple will appear for every three Shadow Links met via StreetPass, up to a maximum of twenty Apples. The rare and more effective Green Apples can also be found growing on the StreetPass Tree on occasion.

The next time Link speaks to Gramps after the StreetPass Tree has been planted, Gramps will ask if he has seen the Tree yet,[2] though he seems to already know the answer and will be perturbed if Link does not respond honestly.[3] The StreetPass Tree is also present in Forest Arena during Shadow Link Battles initiated with the Shadow Link that appears next to the Tree.
