Non-Canon Information

Spirit Battles are special Battles in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.[1]

Overview







Spirit Battles are accessible either via the Spirit Board or through Adventure Mode.

After a Spirit Battle, the Fighter must shoot the Puppet Fighter, which is encased in a rotating shield, in order to obtain the Spirit. Shooting the Shield will cause that portion of the shield to break. Upon completing the Spirit Battle again, any portions where the shield has been destroyed will stay missing, allowing for the Fighter to more easily strike the Puppet Fighter inside.
