Main appearance(s)

Shrines of Death are objects in Cadence of Hyrule.[1] They were introduced as part of the Octavo's Ode Downloadable Content update.

Location and Uses

Shrines of Death appear in Dungeons in both Dungeon Mode and Story Mode — Octavo. When interacted with, Shrines of Death enable the hero to kill any enemy they touch in one hit, but at the cost of them being able to die in one hit when they take damage. If a character has a Health Potion or a Fairy, any hits made to them will automatically consume the item. The effects of Shrines of Death last until the Dungeon is left, the Dungeon Boss is defeated, or the affected character falls in battle.[2]
