Shards of Farosh's Fang are Items in Breath of the Wild[1] and Tears of the Kingdom

Location and Uses[]

Shards of Farosh's Fang are acquired by shooting the dragon Farosh in the face, at which point it will glow and fall on the ground. Farosh can be found flying through Lake Hylia, Lake Floria, and the Gerudo Highlands. If Shards of Farosh's Fang are used in a Cooking Pot, the resulting meal will always be Dubious Food. The Shards can also be used as an ingredient to make Light Yellow Dye at the Kochi Dye Shop in Hateno Village.

At a Great Fairy Fountain, two Shards of Farosh's Fang and five Energetic Rhino Beetles are needed to upgrade the Cap of the Wild to its third tier. An additional Shard can be used to upgrade the Fierce Deity Boots to their third tier.

  • Total for Cap of the Wild: 2 (0, 0, 2, 0)
  • Total for Fierce Deity Boots: 1 (0, 0, 1, 0)
