Sha Gehma Shrine, designated by the trial name Shift and Lock is an Ancient Shrine in Breath of the Wild.

Entrance to the Shrine

The Shrine is in the north of the Tabantha Tundra, close to the northern edge of the North Tabantha Snowfield. As Link enters the Ancient Shrine, he is greeted by the Shrine's Monk, Sha Gehma.[1]

Themes and Navigation

Sha Gehma Shrine features a Treasure Chest trapped under a metallic block on a rail, a walkway that spirals up around the rail and two moving platforms that pass near the rail. In order to complete the Trial, Link must retrieve the Small Key inside the trapped Treasure Chest. After doing so, he can open the portcullis to Sha Gehma, allowing Link to speak to him. He will give Link a Spirit Orb for completing the Trial,[2] and will wish Link well before fading away.[3]

A Treasure Chest underneath the top of the spiraling walkway contains a Royal Broadsword.
