Secret Medicines are items in Link's Awakening.[2]

Location and Uses

Link can purchase Secret Medicines from Tracy at varying prices. In Link's Awakening DX and Link's Awakening for Nintendo Switch, they can also be found inside the final three dungeons. Secret Medicines will activate automatically when Link loses all of his Hearts, completely refilling them before disappearing from the inventory.[3] Only one Secret Medicine can be carried at a time. According to Tracy, they are rubbed on Link when purchased.

In Link's Awakening for Nintendo Switch, if Link already has a Secret Medicine in his inventory and then finds another one inside a Treasure Chest, he will put it back inside.[2]
