Location and Uses
Ruby Short Swords are a type of Short Sword that are infused with Ruby material, allowing them to deal 1 damage to a single enemy and restore half a Heart after every five enemies defeated.[1] They can only be wielded by Link, and therefore can only be acquired either after his Short Sword is infused with a Ruby at a Great Fairy Fountain, or if the blue Treasure Chest in Lake Hylia is opened by Link.
They function identically to the Ruby Dagger.
