Rollobites are enemies in The Minish Cap.[1]

Characteristics

Rollobites resemble pill bugs. When attacked, they will roll into balls and can be picked up and thrown into holes in order to reach switches and treasure chests.

Appears in various areas. His hard shell protects him from swords, but once he rolls into a ball, you can use the Gust Jar to draw him in.

Nomenclature

Rollobite's English name may be a portmanteau of roll and lobite, indicating its different body sections. Rollobite's Japanese name may be derived from the Japanese words, 球 (Kyuu), and 魔 (Ma), literally meaning "demon ball".
