The Rok Uwog Shrine,[1] designated by the Trial name Power of Reach,[1] is an Ancient Shrine in Breath of the Wild.

Entrance to the Shrine[]

Rok Uwog Shrine is located under a rocky canopy in the northwestern part of the Pikida Stonegrove, which is part of the Hebra Mountains. As Link enters the Ancient Shrine, he is greeted by its Monk, Rok Uwog.[2]

Themes and Navigation[]

Rok Uwog Shrine features multiple chambers. The primary chamber has a locked door to Rok Uwog on the right, a barred window on the left, vines on the walls and Torchlights around the room. Behind some vines near the barred window is two Wooden Boxes in a gap in the wall, which leads to the second chamber.

A Guardian Scout II wielding a Guardian Spear is waiting in the second chamber. This chamber also contains a ramp being held up by a metal block and a wooden box. Lowering the ramp allows Link to advance into a corridor where another Guardian Scout II wielding a Guardian Spear is waiting.

At the end of the corridor is a barred window and a portcullis to the next chamber. The next chamber has two Barrels on top of a Switch, a ladder leading back to the primary chamber, and a Treasure Chest. To complete the Ancient Shrine, Link must remove the Barrels from the Switch. Once Link has done so, the portcullis will rise, allowing him to obtain the Small Key inside the Treasure Chest.

The Small Key can be used to open the locked door in the primary chamber, allowing Link to speak to Rok Uwog. They give Link a Spirit Orb for completing the trial.[3] They will wish Link well before fading away.[4]

On a ledge on the right side of the wall facing the Ancient Shrine's entrance is a metallic Treasure Chest containing a Drillshaft.
