The Ree Dahee Shrine,[1] designated by the Trial name Timing Is Critical,[1] is an Ancient Shrine in Breath of the Wild.

Entrance to the Shrine[]

Ree Dahee Shrine is in the valley between the Dueling Peaks, on a small ledge near the bottom of the northern mountain. As Link enters the Ancient Shrine, he is greeted by its Monk, Ree Dahee.[2]

Themes and Navigation[]

Ree Dahee Shrine features a long chamber with multiple floating, tilting and moving platforms with Ree Dahee waiting at the end of the chamber. Initially, all three the moving platforms inside the Shrine are deactivated. To activate each one, Link must use a nearby Switch to tilt either a single platform or a group of two platforms.

An Ancient Orb sits on top of each group of tilting platforms and must be rolled into a socket on a platform close to the tilting platforms. When an Orb rolls into a socket, that socket will then activate a moving platform allowing Link to advance to the next group of platforms.

By approaching Ree Dahee, the Monk will present Link a Spirit Orb for completing the Trial,[3] wishing Link well before fading away.[4]

A stone Treasure Chest containing the Climber's Bandanna is on a small platform above the last tilting platform.
