Piranhas are recurring Enemies in The Legend of Zelda series.[1]

Characteristics

Link's Awakening

Piranhas in Link's Awakening are green fish with black dorsal regions who hide underwater. Whenever Link is nearby, they will quickly surface and jump towards him in an attempt to damage him. They can be found in Goponga Swamp.

Oracle of Seasons

Piranhas in Oracle of Seasons resemble a yellow variant of the Piranhas in Link's Awakening, behaving in the same manner as their past counterpart. They can be found in the Eyeglass Lake.

Four Swords

Piranhas in Four Swords are red with a silvery dorsal region. They attack in much the same way as their past incarnations. They can be found in Talus Cave. In Four Swords Anniversary Edition, they appear in the Link's Awakening Stage of the Realm of Memories.

Other Appearances

Link's Awakening (Cagiva)

In the Link's Awakening manga by Ataru Cagiva, Link gets attacked by a Piranha while exploring Goponga Swamp.
