The Outpost Ruins are a location in Breath of the Wild.
Features and Overview
The Outpost Ruins are the site of a confrontation between Guardians and the citizens of Hyrule, located just east of the Great Plateau in Hyrule Field. The remains of three Guardians can be found scattered throughout the Ruins, which can be searched for Ancient Materials.
If The Master Trials DLC is installed, Misko's EX Journal will appear on a broken bookshelf in the southeasternmost corner of the southernmost ruin. Its pages provide hints as to the current locations of several pieces of Armor that Misko had stolen from Hyrule Castle. The Journal is part of the Side Quests "EX Treasure: Ancient Mask", "EX Treasure: Fairy Clothes", "EX Treasure: Twilight Relic", and "EX Treasure: Phantasma".
Littered throughout the Ruins, Link can find Rusty Claymores, Rusty Halberds, Rusty Shields, and a Rusty Broadsword. A Wooden Bow can be found lying on the ground near the decrepit fountain in the center. Link can also find several Barrels and wooden crates around the Ruins, which contain Arrows and Apples.
A stone Treasure Chest containing a Traveler's Bow rests on the keep in the center of the Ruins. A second stone Treasure Chest can be found in the building to the far east of the Ruins, containing a Red Rupee. A metal Treasure Chest containing Amber can be found embedded in the ground in the southernmost building.
