This page is about the items in Oracle of Seasons. For other uses, see Ore (Disambiguation).

[[File:File:Ore Blue 1-OoS.png.png|20x20px]] [[|]] Ore are items in Oracle of Seasons.

Location and Uses

Ore are items that are found in Subrosia. There are five different types of Ore in Subrosia, each one with different uses.

Ore Chunks are the currency of Subrosia, replacing Rupees. Most Ore Chunks are found by digging in the ground using the Shovel. Link can carry up to 999 Ore Chunks at once while in Subrosia. When equipped with the Green or Gold Joy Rings, Link will receive double the value of Ore Chunks obtained. Ore Chunks can be found in Blue, Red, and Gold varieties, each worth 1, 10, and 50 Ore Chunks respectively.

The Star-Shaped Ore is a quest item that can be found below the sands at the Subrosia Seaside. Link can trade it at the Subrosia Market for a Ribbon, which can be given to Rosa in order to get a date with her, and thus use her Key to open the Tower of Autumn.

Fool's Ore, called Traded Ore in the inventory, is left in place of Link's Roc's Feather after the Strange Brothers steal it. The Ore can be swung like a Sword, dealing more damage than the Master Sword or Biggoron's Sword.[verification needed] When Link reclaims his Roc's Feather, he drops the Fool's Ore.

Red and Blue Ore can be taken to the Great Furnace in order to have them melted together to produce Hard Ore. Link can then take the Hard Ore and his Wooden Shield to the Subrosian Smithy, where the two can be forged together to make the Iron Shield.
