Monster Extracts are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Monster Extracts are sold by Kilton at the Fang and Bone during the night. It can also be acquired as a reward for rescuing Chabi, who is searching for the Fang and Bone. Though it can't be eaten, dishes made in a Cooking Pot with Monster Extract will have their effects randomly affected (increased or decreased).[1] It's also one of the ingredients that can be used at the Kochi Dye Shop to make Purple Dye.

Using Monster Extract while Cooking will result in monstrous meals.[1] These include Monster Cake, Monster Curry, Monster Rice Balls, Monster Soup, and Monster Stew.
