Features and Overview

Mikau Lake is where the beginning of one of the Trials for the "EX Champion Mipha's Song" Main Quest in The Champions' Ballad DLC Pack. In the Trial, Link must ascend the waterfall and pass through the Glowing Rings leading through Lulu Lake to the base of Ploymus Mountain.[3]

A wooden Treasure Chest containing an Opal can be seen floating down Mikau Lake. In Master Mode, a metal Treasure Chest containing a Soldier's Bow can be found atop a platform suspended by Sky Octoroks above the Lake. A second metal Chest containing a Windcleaver can be found on another platform above the higher portion of the Lake.

  2. "OK, Link. Let's get moving. The fastest way to Ploymus Mountain is to ascend the waterfall east of the domain! That Zora armor should come in handy. Just swim to the waterfall basin, and then go up the waterfall from there! I'll wait at East Reservoir Lake, right by the Divine Beast. Gather at least 20 shock arrows, and then come join me!" — Sidon (Breath of the Wild)

One, find what the light's path shows.
    Two, conquer ancient foes.
Three, chase rings of the waterfall.
    Champion, the trials call!

You still have three trials to complete.
