Attack Up

Mighty Bananas can be found growing in Faron and on Eventide Island. They are also sold by Emri in Kara Kara Bazaar. Eating one raw heals half of a Heart. When cooked, the resulting Food provides Link with attack buffs.[1] Mighty Bananes exposed to Fire become Roasted Mighty Bananas. They can be used at the Kochi Dye Shop to make Yellow Dye.

Mighty Bananas are one of three foodstuffs favoured by the Sheikah race, with the others being Swift Carrots and Fortified Pumpkins. They are the clear obsession of the Yiga Clan, as their hideout contains many mighty bananas and all defeated Yiga Footsoldiers and Blademasters drop them. Yiga clansmen will also eat them when given the opportunity, which is a good distraction technique for sneaking past the guards in their hideout. Interestingly, Monk Maz Koshia will also stop fighting and eat them should Link provide him with some, showing that Mighty Bananas have been enjoyed by Sheikah for millennia.
