No Change

I'm just trying to make sure I understand: $1 is a symbol/variable that will change into the title of whatever the image is. That way, the title of the image matches what is going to be deleted, or something like that. [I'm trying to understand MediaWiki.] Austin (NIWA Operative) 23:16, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

$1 is a variable. It is the name of the file that is being deleted. So, yeah that's basically it. Most of these variables can basically be figured out by the context they're in. It's fairly straight forward.User:Matt/sig 22:36, September 22, 2009 (UTC)
What would happen if a file with that name is uploaded? Would it cause errors? If so, can you lock it from being uploaded? Austin (NIWA Operative) 18:57, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
Probably, but not because of the variable name. But because $ is generally a reserved character.User:Matt/sig 18:59, October 1, 2009 (UTC)
