The Maw of Death Mountain,[1] also known as the Climbing Path Trailhead,[2] is a location in Breath of the Wild.

Features and Overview

The Maw of Death Mountain is an area in Eldin Canyon that acts as the main entrance into Eldin proper. It begins at the point between Lake Ferona and Lake Intenoch, where the paving road separates the two Lakes, and lies just ahead of a stone arch. The Maw marks the beginning of the Trail that leads to Goron City and finally Death Mountain itself. It is also denoted as Death Mountain Marker #1,[2] making it the first of a string of landmarks guiding the way to Death Mountain Summit.
