The Mail Center,[1] also known as Mail Sorting,[2] is a Minigame in The Wind Waker.

Overview

The Mail Center can be found inside Dragon Roost Island on the second floor of the Mail Center.

The game involves Link sorting letters by throwing them into the correct delivery box. Each letter has a logo or symbol on it and must be matched with the correct symbol inside the box. If Link throws the wrong letter at a box, it will fall out. Link earns one Rupee for every successful throw, and a bonus of 20 Rupees for achieving a score of 25 or higher.

The first time Link participates, he must achieve at least 25 points to win. Some time after completing Dragon Roost Cavern, Baito is hired by the Rito to work for the Island Postal Service. If Link manages to sort 25 or more letters once again, Baito will ask him to put a letter in the mail to his mother talking about how great he is. Some time after sending the letter, Link will receive a reply from Baito's mother, Kashiko, with a Piece of Heart inside.
