Madderpillars are enemies in The Minish Cap.[2]

Madderpillar (Figurine from The Minish Cap)
TMC Madderpillar Figurine Sprite.png
Appears in Deepwood Shrine, etc. This caterpillar moves in a zigzag pattern. If you hit on the nose, he gets upset and starts running around.

Madderpillars can be defeated by hitting their nose, then, after they turn gray, their tail bulges out in succession. After a couple of hits, they will turn red and begin rampage around the lair for a while before turning back blue. The lairs of Madderpillars are usually covered in spiderwebs which can be removed with the Flame Lantern or the Gust Jar.
