In the A Link to the Past comic by Shotaro Ishinomori, the Library in Kakariko Village is known as the House of Books. When Link returns to Kakariko to find clues about the remaining two Pendants of Virtue,[3] he finds the library has been set on fire by Agahnim's soldiers.[4] Link learns that the Librarian, who he must speak to according to Sahasrahla,[5] is trapped inside the flames.[6] Link then pours a bucket of water on him and barges in to successfully save the librarian, who eventually gives him the Book of Mudora, which they managed to save from the flames.
