King Daltus is a character in The Minish Cap.[2]

Daltus is the King of Hyrule during the Force Era. He is quite tall and obese, and wears a long red robe, greatly resembling the later King, Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule. He also shares voice clips with the King of Red Lions.

Apparently, he once battled Smith in the Picori Festival to the point where it was considered a draw. In the beginning of the game, he appears at the award ceremony for the Picori Festival. Later in the game, he is imprisoned and impersonated by a shape-shifting Vaati. Vaati, as the King, then sends all of the soldiers to go and find the Light Force.

  1. "The name's Mutoh. I'm head carpenter 'round these parts. The king of Hyrule himself has entrusted me with this project. See, that sorcerer's attack tore things up pretty bad around here. You know, kid, you shouldn't be playing anywhere near the construction zone." — Mutoh (The Minish Cap)
