Golden Octoroks are recurring enemies in The Legend of Zelda series.

Characteristics

Oracle of Seasons

In Oracle of Seasons, the Golden Octorok, along with other Golden Monsters, appears around various regions of Holodrum after talking to a golden robed Old Man in the water receded cave around the Gnarled Root Dungeon while it is Summer. The Golden Octorok can be found in Spool Swamp while it is Summer. After defeating it, along with the other Golden Monsters, Link will receive a Magic Ring from the Old Man which, when appraised, becomes the Red Ring.[1]

The Minish Cap

In The Minish Cap, a Golden Octorok will appear as well as two other Golden Monsters after certain Kinstone Fusions. Like the other Golden Monsters, this Octorok moves much faster, can take a lot of damage, and deal a lot of damage to Link. They can be found at the Minish Woods, Wind Ruins, and Western Wood. When defeated, they will drop a large sum of Rupees.
