Flame Traps[name reference needed] are recurring traps in The Legend of Zelda series.
Characteristics
Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages
Flame Traps appear in side-scrolling areas, often near the same areas that contain Podoboo and near Lava. Unlike Podoboo, these fireballs fly through the air and spin in huge circles, similar to how Blade Trap act. They move extremely fast and through all obstacles, and cannot be stopped. Link is forced to simply wait and time his jumps between platforms very carefully to avoid the swooping balls of fire.
