The First Gen Ring is a recurring Item in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][name reference missing]

Location and Uses

The First Gen Ring can be found randomly by opening Gasha Nuts, stumbling into Maple, or through a Ring Fortune. The Magic Ring can be appraised at Vasu Jewelers for 20 Rupees. When worn, it transforms Link into his 8-bit version from The Legend of Zelda. While in this shape, Link cannot use items nor can be eaten by Like Likes. The First Gen Ring can be transferred between games by talking to either the Blue or Red Snake.
