Chiko is a young girl who appears in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland.[name reference needed] She lives in Port Town with her mother. When Tingle meets her, she tells him that she has lost her prized Fairy Doll which her mother had made for her. When Tingle returns it, Chiko's Mum will reward him.
Chiko has always wanted to meet a real Fairy. By throwing 20,000 Rupees into the Fountain in Port Town, the town's guardian Fairy will appear. If Tingle speaks to Chiko's Mum, she will reward him with a maximum of 36,000 Rupees.
Chiko and her mother both have the gift of being able to see Ghosts.
