Face Lamps are recurring traps in The Legend of Zelda series.[1] Face Lamps go unnamed in The Minish Cap.
Characteristics
Face Lamps are Torches that launch fireballs at intruders, similar to Stone Statues. Unlike Stone Statues, they will not start firing fireballs at intruders immediately. Instead, they react to enemies appearing, or in some cases, being defeated. The only means to stop the fireballs is to defeat the enemies in the room.
Nomenclature
Face Lamps are named for the faces on the lamps that appear in Link's Awakening, though in other games they appear simply as regular torches.
