Dinolfos Chieftain is a character in Hyrule Warriors.[name reference needed] He was first introduced in the Wii U version's Master Quest Pack DLC as part of Cia's Tale in Legend Mode, and was later added to parts of the main story in Hyrule Warriors Legends and Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edtion.

The Dinolfos Chieftain is the leader of the Dinolfos tribe dwelling in the Eldin Caves. He is much larger and better-equipped than the standard Dinolfos, but otherwise fights the same. He is loyal to Volga and reveres him like a deity. Whenever Volga appears, the Dinolfos and Lizalfos Chieftains are often there with him. When Cia appears in the Eldin Caves attempting to recruit Volga to her army, this angers the Dinolfos Chieftain and he leads his tribe, assisted by the Lizalfos Chieftain's tribe, to attack Cia. However, Cia defeats them and forcefully recruits them to her army. Following this, the Dinolfos Chieftain battles the Hyrulean Army many times, but is always defeated by Link or another warrior. During Cia's last stand against the Hyrulean Army, the Dinolfos Chieftain flees the battlefield in terror in the face of the overwhelming odds. His fate afterwards is unknown.
