The Climbing Gear is an item in Breath of the Wild.[1]
Location and Uses
The Climbing Gear is a piece of Armor located in Chaas Qeta Shrine on Tenoko Island. After obtaining it, Granté will begin selling the piece of Armor for 4,000 Rupees. According to its description, it is infused with ancient technology.[1] When worn, it provides one level of Climb Speed Up. The Climbing Gear can be enhanced by a Great Fairy and can be Dyed at the Kochi Dye Shop. The Climbing Gear, alongside the Climber's Bandanna and the Climbing Boots, compose the Climbing Set. When each piece of the Set has been enhanced at least two times by a Great Fairy and the full Set is worn, it provides a Climbing Jump Stamina Up Set Bonus.

Trivia
- According to its description, the Climbing Gear features no-slip gloves,[1] however, they do not prevent Link from slipping when climbing in Rain.
