Chiko is a character that only appears in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland. She lives in Port Town with her mother, whose name is never revealed. She is always referred to as Chiko's Mum. Chiko's Mum made Chiko a Fairy Doll a long time ago. Early in the story, she loses her prized doll. When Tingle returns it, Chiko's Mum will reward him.
Chiko has always wanted to meet a real fairy. By throwing over ten thousand Rupees in the Fountain in Port Town, the town's guardian fairy will appear. If Tingle speaks to Chiko's Mum, she will reward Tingle with a large sum of rupees.
Chiko has the gift of seeing ghosts, and so does her mother.[1]
