Breve is a character in The Minish Cap.[1]
Biography
Breve can be seen pacing inside of Mama's Cafe. She advises Link about moving objects, such as bookcases.[2] She expresses her skepticism about the Light Force,[3] notices the change in King Daltus's temperament,[4] and even posits that a monster has taken over his body.[5]
Breve also tells Link of a secret entrance to the Royal Valley in North Hyrule Field, warning him that the place is haunted.[6] She also hints at the true nature of the Source of the Flow,[7]
After Vaati transforms Hyrule Castle into Dark Hyrule Castle, she despairs the darkness that now covers it, wondering if the Minish will save them again.[8]
She is one of the potential characters to have a random Kinstone Fusion available.[9]
Nomenclature
Breve's name likely comes from caffè breve, a latte. Breve's Japanese name, キリマン (Kiriman), is another blend of coffee.
