Blue Bow Guards are enemies in Cadence of Hyrule.[1]

Characteristics

Blue Bow Guards are stronger than the Green Bow Guard, possessing more health and attack power than their weaker counterpart. They move to the beat of the music, and share their movement pattern with other guards by preferring to move in the shape of a circle on every other beat, always crouching on one beat before hopping onto an adjacent tile on the second beat.

However, if their path is blocked off by an object or enemy on a beat, they will hop away in the opposite direction on the next beat without crouching, then resume their normal beat pattern for two beats by crouching and hopping again to find a new path in order to form another circle. The circle could be either clockwise or counter-clockwise, though the direction they pick is always random. Upon seeing Cadence, Link, Yves, or Zelda, they will become aggressive and begin chasing them on every other beat. If any of the heroes are standing at least two tiles in front of them, they will draw their Bow on one beat and then release their arrow on the following beat.
