The Lake of Ill Omen is a location featured in A Link to the Past

Features

The lake is located in the north east region of the Dark World, exactly where the Zora's Lake is in the Light World.

There is a ring of stones where a Giant Catfish resides. Near the ring, there is a sign that says: "Curses to anyone who throws something into my circle of stones." If Link ignores the sign and throws something into the ring of stones, the Catfish appears and says, "Was it you who disturbed my peaceful nap? I will give this to you if you go away!" It then gives Link the Quake Medallion. Throwing another item into the ring of stones, results in a fireball or bomb being thrown at Link.
