Information[]
Various characters in Hyrule Warriors are shown having portraits that pop up with dialogue portraits. All playable characters have portraits meant to express a certian emotion, which is characterized by the color of the box behind the portrait to help solidify the emotion they are trying to express.
- Neutral = Grey
- Angry = Red
- Upset = Blue
- Happy = Yellow
Some characters will even have special Unique portraits that are only used when certain conditions are met, usually using the same grey color as the neutral portrait. NPC's usually only have one expression, the different colors help with getting across the emotion behind their statements. However in some situations certain NPC's will have multiple emotive portraits, though its rare.
