Official name?[]

Fizzle asked for the Japanese name of the Lost Hills but I'm starting to wonder if the Lost Hills really have an official name. The English text never mentions the Lost Hills, neither in-game nor in the manual so is this really an official name? Sounds more like a fan name in that the game mechanics for this location is similar to the Lost Woods and someone just said: "Oh, this must be the Lost Hills". The Japanese game text never mentions this location directly while all the other locations that have become a Zelda trademark like, Spectacle Rock, Death Mountain, the Lost Woods and the Fairy Fountains are all mentioned. Makes it that much more suspicous that this area seems exclusive to only this game. Bakeneko 05:05, 23 December 2012 (UTC)

Zelda.com uses it here. I know we don't generally consider it a reliable source, but it is still an official usage of the term. --SnorlaxMonster 14:11, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
It was originally used on a map that came with the game. I believe it was also named in Nintendo Power or possibly the Nintendo Fun Club magazine. You can see the map here. There was a Japanese equivalent but I was not able to find it. Also, this area reappeared (sort of) in Four Swords Adventures known as Hebra's Hill. Whether they are the same location and that is the Japanese name I don't know. The connection between the Lost Hills, Hebra's Hill, Mount Hebra and Death Mountain is curious. Ok, I tried to find a Japanese equivalent of the map for a few hours but got no luck. That's the only useful map I could find. I tried a desperate search for "迷いの丘" but nothing turned up. Checking some Japanese guides will probably help but I'm still convinced that this location only got named in the English version. Bakeneko 06:01, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
It may indeed have done, but it's still official, anyway. Much like Gooma from Zelda II, it may have no official Japanese name. I also searched for the same thing but never found it. It's certainly not called Hebra's Hill anyway, at least from no source I could see online. User:Fizzle8094/sig 13:57, 15 January 2013 (UTC)
