Breath of the Wild

Oakin can be found in the middle of a gigantic, hollowed log inside the Forest of Spirits atop the Great Plateau. In order to find him, Link must approach a tree sapling that grows inside the southern end of the log. When Link approaches, the sapling will disappear and reappear in a flurry of glowing leaves a short distance away. If Link continues to follow the sapling four more times, Oakin will appear and mistake Link for Hestu.[2] Upon realizing his mistake, Oakin will give Link a Korok Seed to return to Hestu.[3]
